Who we are

Professional Cost Consultants (PCC, we) is the responsible party (controller) for the personal information described in this policy. Our registered address is 76 Jan Smuts Avenue, Saxonwold, Johannesburg, 2196, South Africa.

Personal information we process

When you submit a form on this website, we process the information you provide:

Form Information processed
Contact form Name, company, email address, contact number, enquiry region, message, and a record of your consent to the processing of your personal information.
Careers form Full name, surname, email address, area of expertise, cellphone number, comments, the CV file you upload (maximum 3 MB), and a record of your consent to the processing of your personal information.

We also process limited technical information when you load the site or submit a form:

  • IP address - used for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting.
  • Origin / Referer header - used to validate that form submissions come from this website.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile token - used to confirm that a submission was made by a human.

Why we process it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you request.
  • To assess and process job applications.
  • To protect the website and its forms against spam, bots and abuse.
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We rely on your consent (given by submitting the form), our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website, and - where relevant - the steps necessary to enter into employment.

Data processors and recipients

We share personal information only with the service providers that operate this website. They process it on our instructions and under their own data-protection terms:

Workers AI runs within Cloudflare’s edge and does not share your information with any additional third party. Uploaded CVs and form content are delivered to us by email through Cloudflare’s Email Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

  • Enquiries and applications are kept only as long as necessary to deal with your request, and thereafter only as legally required.
  • Uploaded CVs are deleted once the recruitment process is complete, unless you consent to us keeping them.
  • Security logs (including IP addresses) are kept for a limited period for abuse prevention.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; object to or restrict its processing; or withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, contact us at info@pcc.world. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) or your local data-protection authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
